Shiri (bc30 x KCC)

When arms smuggler Lim is shot by a sniper before revealing important information to special agents Ryu and Lee, Ryu instinctively suspects Hee, the best sniper of North Korea’s 8th Special Force. Meanwhile, North Korean elite agents succeed in seizing CTX, a newly developed liquid bomb, and plant ten CTX bombs in Seoul, threatening to destroy the capital. While trying hard to retrieve the CTX, Ryu and Lee grow suspicious of each other as suspicion of a mole inside O.P. creates distrust; at the same time, Ryu’s marriage approaches with impending misfortune. Breaking the Korean box-office record of Titanic after 57 days in release and igniting the Korean Wave, Shiri uniquely combines “51% action, 49% love” to excite audiences without a moment of relaxation.
