A caravan that has been travelling for centuries, without borders, has finally arrived in town: a show of shaky, ramshackle, imperfect stories is taking to the stage.The Circo Bancàl is normality gone haywire. It is imperfection turned into wonder. Accompanied by an orchestra, Virginia Raffaele brings extraordinary acts from everyday life to the centre of the ring: lovers hanging by a thread, elderly people shot out of a cannon, talking animals, clowns in garters… we recognise ourselves in a circus that is not a performance, but the irony with which, every day, each of us tries to keep our balance.
