During the COVID lockdown, a city park at night becomes a hidden refuge for the gay community. Anxious yet fascinated, a young, anonymous gay man enters for the first time, gradually unable to resist its shifting desire and unwritten rules.

In its hidden corners, he encounters a range of figures—a porn star, a doctor, a homeless man, a drug dealer, a human puppy, and a raincoat-wearing ghost—forming fleeting, dangerous connections through brief encounters and acts of sex.

Glances linger, bodies brush past, and fragmented stories surface only to vanish before they can be told. As longing and fear intertwine, the park reveals itself as both sanctuary and trap—a liminal world where those on the margins seek intimacy while remaining unseen.

Sensual, haunting, and suspenseful, UNDER THE GAZE OF NIGHT moves through a nocturnal landscape where love, loneliness, and violence leave few traces, as those in the shadows struggle to hold on to their presence in a world determined to look away.
