When a writing fellowship falls through, 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain (Dominic Sessa, THE HOLDOVERS) heads to Cape Cod to chase a college girl instead. What he finds is a dish pit, a hammock to sleep in, and the glorious madness of a Provincetown seafood kitchen. One of our favorite filmmakers, Matt Johnson (NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE, BLACKBERRY), captures the summer Bourdain accidentally discovered the calling that would change his life forever. Antonio Banderas gives one of the best performances of his career, trading swagger for warmth in a role that’s funny, patient, and deeply felt.
