Ten years ago, Wind’s son vanished at sea while saving others. Clinging to the last traces of their bond, the aging boatman returned to live by the shore where they once trained for dragon boat races. A decade later, a surfer goes missing at sea, and rumors of a haunting spread along the shoreline. Seeing the family grieving by the water, Wind’s own grief is stirred anew. Outside the dragon boat clubhouse, he lights an eternal lantern to guide the restless spirit home. The sea binds more than just the dead. Liz, the survivor saved by his son that day, prepares to emigrate to Australia, torn by guilt over leaving Wind behind. Meanwhile, her helper Zen forms an unspoken bond with Wind, uncertain whether to return across the ocean or remain on this shore.
