Blues musician Al Cook lives surrounded by memories: his Viennese apartment crammed with vinyl records, videotapes, and a lifetime of devotion to a music he loves from an ocean away. When a ruthless real estate company targets his home for demolition, he must let go of his treasures one by one and face a radical new beginning.

 

From award-winning Austrian duo Tizza Covi and Rainer Frimmel, this quietly moving and unexpectedly funny portrait of loss and passion blurs the line between reality and fiction, bringing a real-life bluesman to the screen through non-professional performance and the warm, grainy textures of Super 16mm film. Premiered in competition at the Berlinale 2026.

回憶總是美好的。奧地利藍調樂手阿爾曲克的家，就是滿載他多年生活軌跡的寶庫，大量藏書、錄影帶和黑膠唱片見證著他的光輝歲月，時間彷如在這個空間裡靜止。只是外面的世界急速變化，藍調也好像已被人遺忘，再加上他對亡妻的懷緬，往事注定只能回味。當地產商的魔爪伸向阿爾曲克的家園，他可以怎樣捍衛生命中的最後淨土？ 發展的巨輪無情輾過，他只能把心愛的珍藏割捨。當一切歸於無有，人生也彷彿無法前行。導演蒂莎高菲和凱納費莫試探紀錄片底線，遊走真實與虛構，別開生面。
