Tallinn Chamber Choir Spring Concert Distant Echo
The longing for spring is filled with anticipation for light, colours and the awakening of nature. As the first flowers bloom, hope returns, bringing new vitality to all that truly matters.
The Tallinn Chamber Choir’s concert “Distant Echo”, taking place on 26 April at 18:00, brings together a bouquet of colourful music by composers from Estonia and abroad, inspired by Estonia’s beautiful nature, the idea of home and the longing for one’s homeland.
The programme gives special attention to works by Estonian composers in exile, created far from home yet preserving the Estonian language, spirit and musical heritage.
With this bright spring concert, we build a bridge from Estonia to Toronto, Canada, where the Tallinn Chamber Choir has been invited to perform at the opening of the new International Estonian Centre this August – a future cultural hub for Estonians in North America.
By purchasing a concert ticket or a supporter ticket, you help make this journey possible and support bringing Estonian music across the ocean as a tribute to those who have kept our culture alive.
