“Singing Beethoven in the Baltics” – The Real Big Chorus at the Estonia Concert Hall

“Singing Beethoven in the Baltics” is the theme of The Real Big Chorus’ 2026 autumn musical tour. Tallinn was chosen as one of the tour destinations thanks to its vibrant and diverse musical scene.
On 13 October at 19:00, the music of Ludwig van Beethoven will fill the Estonia Concert Hall. The programme features the Egmont Overture and two choral works, Choral Fantasy and Mass in C major.
The concert brings 120 singers to the stage, with an average age of 80. The performance is conducted by Gavin Carr, with Maria Marchant as the piano soloist in Choral Fantasy. The vocal soloists are from the Estonian Philharmonic, while the Nordiclight Orchestra, made up of Estonian musicians, accompanies the performers.
Admission is free with a Piletilevi ticket. Although the ticket costs €0, it must be booked in advance to secure a seat of your choice.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to MTÜ Elu Dementsusega, an Estonian non-profit organisation supporting people affected by dementia.
