Rimi Riga marathon 2027

The Rimi Riga Marathon offers a great opportunity for first-time visitors to get to know Riga, one of the most beautiful cities in the Baltics. There are several distances to choose from, including the marathon, half-marathon, 10km, 6km, and mile.

The scenic course takes runners through the Old Town, past architectural monuments, and over bridges, making it a race that meets the expectations of all participants. In 2020, the Rimi Riga Marathon received the prestigious World Athletics Gold Label for the second consecutive year, making it the only race in Northern Europe and one of only 40 in the world to receive this recognition. This confirms the high quality and excellent organizational level of the race. 

The marathon (42,195 km) course – is set to be a runner’s dream, featuring a single loop that includes three iconic Riga bridges and takes runners through the city’s most beautiful spots, including the famous Mežaparks or Forest Park.
