POST student exhibition of the Master’s specialization in Visual Arts of the Art Academy of Latvia
Exhibition of emerging artists from POST, an interdisciplinary Fine Art MA program at the Art Academy of Latvia, marking the midpoint of its third generation.
The exhibition outlines a condition of thinking that exists before clarity, where intuition, speculation, and partially formed ideas take precedence over fixed meaning. Drawing from the gentle, nonlinear logic as found in A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh, the exhibition embraces a way of understanding that unfolds gradually through experience. There is a moment before recognition, impossible to hold onto, where things feel certain without evidence, and logic arrives too late to be useful.
The exhibition brings together seven artists: Franciska Anna Beļāne, Francis Hagendorfs, Niklāvs Kadiķis, Velta Esmeralda Kalnozola-Kalsere, Emīls Kocers, Emīlija Paškeviča, and Līva Priedīte. The exhibition is curated by Domo Baal and Kristaps Ancāns.
