The legendary trumpeter, composer, and Pulitzer Prize winner, Wynton Marsalis, and the world-renowned JLCO orhestra will perform their special “Big Band Holidays” program, marking their first-ever concert in the Baltic region

Wynton Marsalis is a legend, one of the most influential music personalities in the world—an outstanding trumpeter, composer, and ambassador of American culture, whose achievements span beyond the boundaries of jazz and classical music.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, founded by Marsalis, is justifiably considered the world’s best jazz orchestra. What makes the orchestra’s visit and concert at the Pink Noise Riga festival unique is the fact that “Big Band Holidays”, a special Christmas-themed music program arranged specifically for this big band, will be performed for the first time outside the US. In addition to the orchestra musicians, the concert will also feature outstanding guest vocalists, whose names will be revealed later.
