Piano Music Through the Seasons: Pianist Tiit Tomp at the Niguliste Museum
The young pianists’ concert series Piano Music Through the Seasons continues at the Niguliste Museum. This time, Tiit Tomp, winner of third prize at the 10th Estonian Pianists’ Competition, will perform in the museum’s historic church hall.
The programme features Karol Szymanowski’s Variations in B-flat Minor, Op. 3, Ottorino Respighi’s Six Pieces for Piano, and Ludwig van Beethoven’s final Piano Sonata No. 32 in C Minor, Op. 111.
The Piano Music Through the Seasons series presents one outstanding young Estonian pianist each season, showcasing musicians who are still developing their artistic careers and completing their musical education. The series gives young performers the opportunity to play the Niguliste Museum’s magnificent piano and gain valuable performance experience in a unique historic setting.
The concert ticket also includes admission to the Niguliste Museum before the concert.
The concert series is organised by the Niguliste Museum in cooperation with the NGO Kammermuusikud.
