Some men are, quite literally, dogs. While on holiday with his girlfriend and friends, Juan stumbles on an abandoned man in the wilderness–feral, wordless, behaving in every respect like a stray–and takes him in, bathing him, feeding him, and lavishing him with affection. His girlfriend warns that he’s growing too attached, and that they certainly can’t bring the creature home to Buenos Aires and she is right to worry. Argentine provocateur Marco Berger (Teddy Award winner for ABSENT, and reigning master of the slow-burning gay gaze) returns with his most ambitious and absurdist work yet: a surreal black-and-white fable in which desire, instinct and anthropomorphic longing turn strangely, achingly literal. Germán Flood and Juan Ramos commit without a flicker of vanity. Equal parts sexy, silly and melancholy, PERRO PERRO is an erotic parable about the yearning for unconditional love.
