Orpheum Tours
Vancouver Civic Theatres is hosting guided tours of the Orpheum, one of the most beautiful concert halls in North America.
The Orpheum, a designated National Heritage Site, was built in 1927. Each year the theatre hosts international musicians, popular concerts and unique events; it is also home to the beloved Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
The 90 minute walking tours are led by the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame and reveal many secrets of the iconic theatre’s history; including the time Frank Sinatra was almost kicked out of the theatre for breaking dressing room lights while practising his golf swing!
Reservations are strongly encouraged as tours frequently fill up in advance. Walk-up patrons will be accepted at the door as space permits.

As this tour takes place in an operating theatre, some sections of the building may be inaccessible.
This program is presented in partnership with the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame and Downtown Van.
