Nuevas humanas en la escuela
Constanza Giuliani (1984, Mendoza) explores drawing and painting, combining both through airbrush techniques to create a visual imaginary aligned with pop culture, such as comics, animation, and graffiti. In her works, text merges, competes, or coexists with images, crafting stories and characters that navigate personal and collective adventures while reflecting on the vicissitudes of contemporary life. Through speculative fictions, her work seeks to evoke intimate and shared emotions while fostering poetic and political dialogues from a queer and feminist perspective that embraces diversity and the fluidity of identity. In 2024, Giuliani presented her first major solo exhibition at institutions such as Kunstmuseum Luzern (Switzerland) and Centro Cultural Recoleta (Argentina). She has also exhibited individually in Basel, Lausanne, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City, and participated in group exhibitions at venues like Casa Nacional de Bicentenario in Buenos Aires (2023) and Drawing Center in New York (2020). In 2012, she completed the Artist Program at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and in 2021, she received the First Acquisition Prize at the Salón Nacional de Rosario. Her third book, Ser una rata es muy difícil, was published in 2022.
