Mo Gilligan with his comedy show “The Mo You Know”

A Londoner who grew up in a Jamaican family, he masterfully conjures up the multicultural nature of British society in his shows, referring to world-famous names such as Shakira, Bukayo Saka, Stormzy, Jay-Z, and Kanye West. He gently plays on the connotations of these personalities in uncomfortable, familiar, and relatable scenes from life.
