It is amazing (and still very understandable) that the question of love functions like a mirror to all our cultural categories and our conceived notions. Gender, nation, working environment, recreation and sport. All of the above feature in our Late Night Love programme as the pin on which all these relationships hang. A virtual reality game tests the limits of our being together in an avatar mode, whereas a paid sex encounter reveals more intimate things about third people absent from the encounter. Non-heteronormative relationships remind us that affection between consenting adults is here to stay. Sometimes toxicity is masked as animated love, and other times love needs a big audience to bloom. Raunchy, cleverly funny, honest, and revealing our perennial worries and aspirations about connecting with each other, here’s to love.
