La Luz (SFF2026)

Manuel is a provincial priest preparing to hang up his robes when his dark past comes to light, forcing him to face his actions. Seeking absolution, he approaches the youth he once harmed, inadvertently reopening old wounds. Directed by Fernando Franco from the abuser’s perspective, takes an unflinching look at sin and its hidden consequences. It challenges religious institutions and asks a haunting question: can a sinner’s guilt ever truly bring comfort to those they have broken?
