Kuzma (2026)

For the first time on the big screen comes the story of Andriy Kuzmenko (“Kuzma”), the legendary frontman of the iconic Ukrainian band Skriabin.

Built almost entirely from unique archival materials—most of which have never been publicly released—the documentary offers an intimate portrait of the artist behind the public image. Through rare footage, personal recordings and exclusive archives, the audience discovers Kuzma’s humour, self-irony, personal growth and his extraordinary way of living life at full speed. Rather than telling his story through traditional interviews, the film allows Kuzma himself to guide viewers through his own life, making it one of the most personal documentary portraits ever created about him. 

Directed by Artem Hryhorian, the film follows Kuzma’s journey from a young man growing up in Novoiavorivsk to becoming one of the most influential figures in Ukrainian popular culture. It is a story about freedom, humanity, music and love for people—values reflected in every song and every word he left behind.
