I Heard That They Are Not Going To See Each Other Anymore (HKAFF)

Present-day Taipei. Tao, consumed by an inexplicable affection for the indifferent Shin, seeks to preserve their bond through pain. Meanwhile, Melih, a former Istanbul resident running a noodle shop, receives an unexpected flower from the perpetually drunk Ping. As he fixates on the flower, he becomes entangled in Tao’s story, reflecting on his own struggles with human connection. Through these intertwined narratives, the film examines the fragility of memory and the ways we attempt to hold onto, or let go of the past.

台北城裡，阿兔與阿信的關係在依附與傷害間拉扯；同時，來自土耳其的麵攤老闆阿神，透過小曼突然送上的一朵花，編織出他們的故事，映照自身難以言說的渴望。兩段情感如鏡像並行，彼此照見內心的缺口。當阿信突然消失， 阿兔開始動搖於記憶與真實之間，而阿神也開始懷疑，是不是放下與遺忘才是解脫？香港導演黃嘉祺首部長片糅合紀錄片與劇情片，以實驗性的鏡頭遊走現實與演出。角色既在表達自己的感想，同時亦在演繹自我。人的孤寂與城市的蹤影相互交織，形成一幅當代花都剪影。
