Told entirely from the perspective of its avian protagonist, Hen follows a chicken who escapes an industrial farm only to find herself navigating the pecking order of a crumbling seaside restaurant in Greece. As she fights to protect her eggs, she becomes an unwitting witness to the complex human lives around her as the restaurant is caught up in greed, smuggling, and the migrant crisis. It’s often said that animals have no morals, but do humans really possess humanity?

一隻母雞因罕見的外貌差點葬送雞場夥計的餐桌，經歷了一場有雞無險的逃生之旅後誤打誤撞落腳於海旁一家已結業的餐廳。母雞一邊「雞立人群」冷眼旁觀人生百態，一邊不忙雞的報恩努力生蛋。沒想到是，外貌殘舊的餐廳竟然是難民偷渡的中轉站，黑社會惡勢力亦無處不在。匈牙利亞鬼才導演佐治帕爾菲以雞眼看地球，透過妙想天開的超低視覺細看人間的淒涼與荒誕。常説畜生無性，人難道就有人性？
