FC RFS vs “Riga FC”, “LVBET” Latvian Cup semi-final football match

Latvia’s two strongest football clubs of recent years are set to face off once again in the Riga Derby at LNK Sporta Park, this time in the semi-finals of the “LVBET” Latvian Cup. The stakes are particularly high this time round – the teams will be battling it out in the Latvian Cup semi-finals. This means that a draw is not an option, and one of the Latvian Cup finalists will definitely be decided this evening.

In the history of the Latvian Cup, 39 different club teams have won the prestigious trophy since 1936, whilst 13 different teams have lifted the cup since the country regained its independence. The current holders of the trophy are FK “Auda”.

Stadium gates will open at 6:00 p.m. A large, free entertainment area will be open, offering activities for both children and adults. The “Andalūzijas Suns” café will be open, along with four concession stands in the stands, and the “Sportland” club merchandise store will also be open.
