EGOSEX LIVE SHOW EN MARULA – OPEN ACT BY JUAN ALEMAN

Barcelona-based band Egosex present a rare live performance at Marula Café, joined by a special opening set from multidisciplinary artist Juan Alemán.
Emerging from the city’s underground, Egosex have carved a distinctive sonic identity they describe as Trance Jungle Blues—a hypnotic fusion of primitive African rhythms, blues, electronica and futurist sound design. Their work explores themes of spirituality, identity and modern love, blending raw percussion with immersive atmospheres and ritualistic intensity.
Opening the night, Juan Alemán—an Argentine-born, Barcelona-based multidisciplinary artist—brings his unique audiovisual universe to the stage. Moving fluidly between music, painting and animation, his sound combines atmospheric electronic textures with pop structures, creating an intimate yet immersive live experience. Following the release of his debut EP Ruidos Afuera and the visually acclaimed animated video Vidrios, Juan recently unveiled his first full-length album, RE30RN, marking a bold new chapter in his artistic journey.
