“Echoes Across Two Shores” – A Benefit Concert Supporting Ingmar Kiviloo’s Studies

This benefit concert celebrates the graduation of violinist, singer, and composer Ingmar Kiviloo from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston while raising support for his master’s studies at the University of Toronto, beginning this autumn. The concert brings together outstanding classical and jazz musicians from two continents, two shores, and two musical traditions.
The first half of the evening features Ingmar Kiviloo’s original compositions for violin, chamber ensembles, and choir. Professional Estonian classical musicians will take the stage, including bassoonist Robert Nael, currently studying in the United States, accordionist Momir Novaković, and several other guest performers.
The second half presents a vibrant program of pop and jazz. Four musicians from Berklee College of Music in Boston will join forces with Estonian Berklee alumni Uku Suviste, Laura Põldvere, Sofia Rubina, and Jason Hunter. Together, they will perform the music of Raimond Valgre in brand-new arrangements created especially for this concert.
