The sudden passing of Pu-nian’s mother from cancer unexpectedly uncovers a web of family secrets: her mother had a lover during her long years working in Mainland China. And her grandmother, who moves in to comfort her, discovers Pu-nian’s hidden relationship with her cohabiting girlfriend, Zai-zai.
