Aterciopelados
live tonite presents Colombia’s rock legends Aterciopelados live in Copenhagen on 01 October 2026 at Pumpehuset from 08 PM
Aterciopelados, Colombia’s flagship band and one of the most influential projects in Ibero-American music. Led by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago, for over 30 years they have built a unique musical language blending rock, Latin American rhythms and ancestral roots, shaping a powerful, critical and enduring artistic identity. With 10 studio albums, 4 Latin Grammy Awards, and two Grammy nominations (1998 and 2026), their work has redefined rock in Spanish while championing female empowerment, environmental awareness, and social transformation.
In 2025, they released Genes Rebeldes, a creative manifesto that connects the ancestral with the contemporary. Now in 2026, Aterciopelados returns with La Pipa de la Paz – 30th Anniversary, celebrating one of Latin American rock’s most iconic albums, originally Grammy-nominated in 1998 and produced by the legendary Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music). The call to light the peace pipe feels more urgent than ever: a summons to dialogue, mutual respect, and a renewed bond with the Earth.
The show brings fresh interpretations of defining tracks like No Necesito, Quemarropa, La Culpable, Cosita Seria, and Expreso Amazonia, alongside beloved hits from their extensive catalogue including El Estuche, Florecita Rockera, Bolero Falaz, Baracutana, etc. Don’t miss their first time in Denmark, tickets on sale now.
(All ages welcome, under 14s with a guardian. Tickets are refundable only if the event is cancelled or postponed.)
