Antonijas Street Festival

As summer draws to a close, Antonijas Street will become a meeting place for residents, neighbours and visitors to the city as the first-ever Antonijas Street Festival takes place, marking the beginning of a new city tradition. The festival is a gift to the city, its residents and visitors from local bank Signet Bank, which has referred to Antonijas Street as “its street” for several years. The festival will offer an opportunity to come together, discover Antonijas Street from a different perspective and experience its unique atmosphere. Throughout the day, the street will come alive with music, a variety of activities and culinary delights, while the festival’s central gathering point will be a nearly 60-metre-long community table, where everyone will be invited to sit down, enjoy a meal and connect with one another.

The musical programme will run from 1.00 pm to 10.00 pm, taking audiences on a journey through different genres and eras. Highlights will include a special performance by a chamber ensemble from the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, jazz improvisations and a livelier evening programme curated by DJs. Musician Chris Noah will also take the stage as dinner begins, inviting the audience to get into the rhythm of the evening.
