Reinis Jaunais & The Flamenco Thief Concert

The concert will feature performances by guitarist Reinis Jaunais and UK composer Craig Sutton, wider known as ‘The Flamenco Thief’.

The unifying element of both artists’ music is their love for world travel – in fact, the two musicians met during their long concert tours. In the concert, global instrumental music will intertwine with poetry by various authors in Latvian, flamenco guitar playing will interact with electronic music elements, and influences of Balkan, Latin American, and Jamaican music will also be heard. The musicians utilize looping techniques, thereby achieving a near-orchestral sound on stage.
