Performance Bolderāja
What if, at the wedding of two young people in the most elegant pub in a Riga neighborhood, the bride’s grandmother meets her ex-son-in-law and his new, aging girlfriend? What should the host do if, a few minutes before the party, it turns out that her husband will not be able to play the musical accompaniment, because he has not yet recovered from the previous celebration? What should the groom do, if the bride’s best friend confesses her feelings during the toast?
A cake, exciting contests, and dancing from dusk to dawn! While the newlyweds celebrate and look to the future with a bright outlook, the rest of the family cannot resist the temptation to use the rare opportunity of getting together to clarify past relationships. At the moment when it seems that all conflicts have been put aside, an unexpected guest arrives, and those present must make sure that the wedding celebration does not turn into a funeral feast.
The performance is in Russian, with subtitles in English and Latvian.
