Nike Presents: Estonia vs Iceland | UEFA Nations League 2026

The Estonian men’s national football team will begin a new UEFA Nations League campaign this autumn, playing a total of six matches. Their second home fixture will be against Iceland.
Luxembourg and Bulgaria are also in the same group. The second home match against Iceland will take place on 6 October, just 10 days after the teams’ first encounter away from home.
Iceland delivered some strong performances during the recent FIFA World Cup qualifiers, including a 2–2 draw against France. Estonia and Iceland last met in a friendly in early 2023, which ended in a 1–1 draw.
Iceland were relegated to League C of the Nations League in spring 2025 after losing 5–2 on aggregate to Kosovo.
