“ArtWalk” — short tours in English at Kumu Art Museum
Kumu Art Museum offers a great opportunity to spend leisure time in a lively, creative space and take a brief look at the exhibitions!
Every month, Kumu Art Museum hosts English-language Art Walks, short tours where visitors can get a brief overview of one of Kumu’s exhibitions from a museum guide. The tours cover both Kumu’s permanent exhibitions, providing insights into the history of Estonian art, as well as temporary exhibitions focused on a specific theme or artist. After the tour, visitors can continue exploring the museum and other exhibitions independently.
Check the detailed tour schedule on the museum’s website.
The tour requires a museum ticket; the meeting point is located at the Kumu ticket counter.
The tour lasts 45 minutes.
Kumu is the main building of the Art Museum of Estonia and the largest and most prominent exhibition venue in Estonia. The museum offers an overview of various periods in Estonian art, ranging from academic style to modernism, Soviet pop art to contemporary art. The building’s modern architecture is an attraction in its own right.
